At the DSEI UK 27 defence exhibition, representatives of Britain's military leadership outlined key priorities for developing the country's defence sector. The National Director of Equipment and Chief of Defence Staff emphasized the need for faster delivery of military capabilities to troops, as well as the importance of implementing innovative technologies in the defence sphere. Particular attention was given to improving the overall operational readiness of the armed forces. According to the speakers, given the changing global situation, traditional pace of development and implementation of military equipment no longer meets modern security requirements. Leaders called on defence industry representatives and the military department for closer cooperation to reduce timelines from development to practical deployment of new weapons systems. The DSEI exhibition is one of the largest international platforms for demonstrating military equipment and discussing prospects for the development of the defence industry, traditionally attended by representatives of governments, armed forces, and defence companies from various countries around the world.
