The European Commission published an information material (factsheet) in Brussels dedicated to the solidarity of the European Union with Ukraine. Such documents are regularly issued by EU institutions to systematize data on various forms of support that the European Union provides to the Ukrainian state and its citizens since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion. Traditionally, such fact-sheets include an overview of financial assistance aimed at sustaining Ukrainian economic and budget resilience, information on humanitarian support for refugees and affected populations, as well as information on military-technical assistance provided by EU member states and EU institutions. Particular attention in such materials is given to sanctions measures against Russia imposed in response to the aggression, and efforts to rebuild Ukrainian infrastructure. The publication of the fact-sheet confirms the continuing involvement of the European Union in supporting Ukraine amid the protracted conflict. The European Commission regularly updates such documents to inform the public and partners about the scale and forms of assistance provided, as well as about coordination of actions between EU member states in this regard. The official fact-sheet was presented on October 2, 2026, and became part of the European Commission's ongoing communication practice on issues related to the situation in Ukraine and the EU's role in supporting it.
