The VMDS system (pharmacovigilance data management system) has implemented new features designed to improve interaction with marketing authorization holders (MAH) for pharmaceutical products. A key innovation is a separate channel for submitting company responses to regulatory requests. The new mechanism is designed to simplify the process of sending applications and related documentation from manufacturing companies. Additionally, the update improves the ability to track and monitor the status of submitted applications, which should increase transparency in the interaction process between regulatory authorities and pharmaceutical companies. It is expected that the changes will reduce the administrative burden on MAHs and accelerate the processing of requests related to drug safety and registration. Such technical improvements to pharmacovigilance systems are typically introduced to optimize document management and reduce errors in data submission, which ultimately contributes to more effective control over the safety of pharmaceutical products on the market.
