Organizers of the Queen Elizabeth Digital Memorial project have made a final appeal to the public to share personal memories of Queen Elizabeth II. The portal, created to collect stories, photographs, and impressions from people connected to memories of the monarch, will soon close to new public submissions. The digital memorial was launched as a way to preserve the collective memory of the Queen's reign and to give citizens from different countries the opportunity to make a personal contribution to preserving her legacy. Anyone could leave a text message, photograph, or other material reflecting the significance of Elizabeth II in their life or in their country's history. According to the organizers, after the portal closes, the collected materials will be systematized and preserved as part of the memorial's archive. In this way, memories left by ordinary people will become part of a permanent digital collection dedicated to the memory of the Queen. Organizers emphasized that this is the last opportunity for the general public to participate in shaping the memorial, and urged all those who wish to contribute to do so as soon as possible, while the portal is still open for submissions.
