The Organization for the Supervision of Product Safety (OPSS) has issued a warning to consumers regarding popular stress-relief toys that simulate pimple popping. These are products equipped with sharp needles or syringe-like elements used to create the effect of a bursting pimple. According to the agency, such toys pose a real danger of injury, especially for children who may accidentally cut themselves on sharp elements during play. OPSS recommends that consumers immediately stop using such goods and dispose of them properly. The agency has also called on parents to carefully inspect toys purchased for children for sharp or potentially dangerous parts, especially if the products were purchased through online platforms or from unverified sellers. Such warnings are regularly issued by product safety regulators in response to products appearing on the market that do not meet safety standards. Consumers who have already purchased such toys are advised to contact the store or seller for a refund or to get in touch with local consumer protection authorities for further instructions.
