NASA and SpaceX have scheduled the launch of the 35th International Space Station resupply mission for Tuesday, October 13, at 6:33 a.m. Eastern Time. The Dragon cargo spacecraft will deliver scientific experiments, consumables, and equipment to the orbital complex. Among the key cargo are the final set of expandable solar arrays (iROSA) for the ISS, which will complete the modernization of the station's power system. This is already the 35th commercial resupply mission performed by SpaceX under contract with NASA. The agency also reported that it will provide additional information about television coverage of the launch and the subsequent docking of the spacecraft with the station. NASA's commercial cargo transportation program allows for regular replenishment of ISS crew supplies and supports scientific research in orbit, including experiments in biology, physics, and technology that cannot be conducted under Earth's gravity conditions.
