According to results of a new survey, the overwhelming majority of parents — 82% — expressed a desire to spend more time in joint physical activities with their families. At the same time, a significant portion of respondents, 61%, admitted that they do not consider themselves sufficiently prepared or skilled in sports, which becomes a psychological barrier to participation. These findings became the foundation for launching a government campaign aimed at encouraging family physical activity. The campaign was publicly supported by well-known parents from the entertainment and sports world, who shared their personal experiences of engaging in sports activities together with their children. The organizers of the initiative emphasize that the goal of the campaign is not professional sports achievements, but rather the formation of a habit of regular activity in a relaxed family setting. In their view, the fear of appearing "not good enough" often prevents parents from simply playing ball games with their children, cycling, or going for walks. Health experts note that joint physical activity benefits not only physical health but also strengthens the emotional bond between family members. The campaign involves the distribution of simple recommendations and ideas for activities that do not require special training or expensive equipment. The authors of the initiative hope that the support of recognizable public figures will help remove the psychological barrier for parents and inspire more families to engage in regular joint sports activities.
